Her eyes were deadly, yet cautious. She watched for any human beings, yet saw none. She saw no one at all. Busy city horns were heard in the background, and rocky music from bums who were blasting it out in the street. She couldn't trust any of them. Her tail began to wag as she found a dumpster. She panted heavily, her skinny body barely hanging on. The dumpster was tall and big. She climbed on top of a smaller trash can, making a loud street style noise. She quickly lifted her front body and then dug her face into the dumpster, looking for something to eat.

The rustic tinted bod made its way quick and low through the icy streets passing the people quickly with his hair and auds up. He didn't stop until he suddenly heard a trash can hit the concrete ground and froze with nares and auds pointed toward where the noise had come from. His pads stepped into the alley and mahogany pools spotted a tri-colored female rummaging through the trash. Hindquarters lowered as he sat down and stared at the female, wondering if she had even noticed him.

Graffiti continued ruvuging through the trash until she finally found a week old steak bone. She held it in her mouth and then exited the dirty trash can. The bone stuck out of her mouth like a savage, and she looked at the rustic skinned male. She sat the bone down on the cold ground and then shook her body from all the smell and garbage. She picked her bone back up, then walked towards the wall and layed down, beginning to chew on her food.

Rejio watched as she held the bone in her mouth and walked to lay down to eat it. Rejio then looked around and spotted a closed dumpster near to her left side with a trash can next to it. Rejio rose to his feet and trotted to the trash can. He then jumped upon the trash can and quickly jumped on the dumpster before the falling trash can made him fall. His bod lowered to the dumpsters lid as his dial rested between his fore pads and poolsw stared at her. He stared for a while and then he raised his head and parted his labras to speak but nothing escaped his massive jaws.

After a little while, he tried again, this time accomplishing it. Hey. That's a mighty good looking bone you got there. Stupid. He thought to himself. Stupid. Stupid. Stupid. He had no idea really what to say. He layed his dial back down in between his fore pads as he waited for a reply. He was mad at himself now that he hadn't said something better than that

Graffiti didn't bother watching the male pull his little stunt with the trash cans. She licked her chops and continued chewing the bone with her massive, sharp teeth. As he spoke words, she looked at him with cautious eyes that were somewhat threatening yet not mean. She continued chewing the giant chunk of bone in her mouth before replying in a low tone of voice.

Too bad you can't have it!

She said quite rudely. She had been bullied by males before, and this one was no different.

Rejiop jumped at her harsh comment. He knew he had said something stupid and probably deserved it. I'm sorry if you thought I wanted it. I really don't. You found it and in my rule book, it's finders keepers. He held his dial up as he spoke. He wondered if he had started wrong of his talking. He then, after a little thinking, decided to start again. I'm sorry, I forgot to aquaint you properly. He rose to his pads and jumped to the ground from the dumpsters top being sure to leave some distance between her and himself. I am Rejio.

Graffiti went back to her bone at the long silence. The only noise were the honking and rocking in the nearby streets, and the gnawing of the long bone. As he spoke again, she looked up and him and stood up herself. She pinned her ears back for him to not get nearer. Knowing her, she couldn't trust anyone in this world anymore.

I'm Graffiti.

She said back. She eyed the graffiti on the wall and smiled, then looked back at Rejio. Her ears were no longer pinned.

Rejio smiled back at her. I see where the name comes from. It is a nice name. It is also very nice to meet you, Graffiti and may I ask, do you live anywhere specific as in with other dogs, like a pack? His mahogany pools looked straight into hers as they showed only kindness and the smile kept its place upon his labras as he awaited her response to his question.

Graffiti picked the bone up, but dropped it again. She looked at him. Her emotions weren't going against her this time. She took a step towards him, leaving the bone behind her.

She questioned, in somewhat of a harsh tone.

He kept where he was as he heard that she had no home. What was his answer to her question. Oh he knew what it was now. I have no others whom reside with me but I have recently taken up the alley, Generella. He smiled again as he noticed that she had taken a step towards him, forgetting about her bone.

She said nothing more. She snorted and spun her body around towards her bone. She picked it up with her mouth then trotted down the alley. If he had nothing to offer, then he should leave, and leave Graffiti to her meal.

Rejio thingyed his dial as confusion went through his mind at her reaction. He quickly followed her at a run until he passed her up and halted in front of her trying to stop her in her path. Hey where are you going. I wanted to ask you a question. Would you like to come live in my Alley with me?

She dropped the bone once again. She wagged her tail, but then stopped and sat on her haunches. She looked him straight in the eye. If he wanted her, he'd have to try harder.

And if I don't?

She asked him in a harsher tone, yet welcoming at the same time.

He sat down as she did and thought for a second before he replied. I'm not going to force you to come with me, but if you do you will have another for company, help with dog catchers, a home, and more to keep alert for trouble. I'm just offering, you don't have to accept. He sat there, staring into her pools as he waited to see if she wanted to come with him or not.

She stood back up as he wouldn't leave her be. It sounded like a good deal. Only one problem. Him. She was annoyed by him, not leaving her alone. But what the heck? She left the bone where it was and passed by him, not eyeing him at all. This wasn't going to be love, just companionship. Then she'd think about it. She eyed him to let him know that she accepted.

Rejio smiled at her acceptance. Well then follow me. He then rose up onto all four pads and turned towards the street. He paddeed his way to it and halted looking back and then looking both ways. He then signaled for her to come as he padded off toward his alley.

She didn't smile, she didn't wag her tail. She felt annoyed, yet, she kept it all inside of her and trotted up after Rejio. She tried picturing what the alley would look like. Hopefully large dumpsters full of trash and garbage to grub down on. She didn't stop by him, but just past, not looking for cars in the streets. She crossed safely then waited for Rejio to come too.
